Dr. Arifah Jamil founded the Islamabad Institute of Sonography in 2014, building it into the only center in Islamabad delivering ultrasound training at the international clinical standards of Shifa International Hospital.
Under her leadership, IIS has trained over 500 students — doctors, sonographers, and healthcare professionals — not just from across Pakistan but from worldwide, including the UK and Saudi Arabia.
